The Ides of spring

This morning as I opened the front door I saw the sun peeking over the horizon.
















The hummingbird feeder awaits the return of its patrons from Central and South America
















It was 35 degrees, and the bird bath sported a frozen skin of ice

















But that doesn't deter Mr. Squirrel from getting a sip

















The sun illuminates the tops of trees in the woods behind our house
