It's nice and peaceful here this morning.
Sun's on the rise,
birds are busy at the feeders,
cat wants attention,
I want to dream.
The world seems full of stuff for me to do.
Hang towel racks, caulk, learn songs.
And yet right now, in this time and place,
stillness seems to beckon me to be silent,
to observe
and not act.
